Functional Threshhold Power Again
I did the test again from Graeme Street. 264 watts - 5% = 251 watts. 138 BPM. I went out a little too hard and paid for it at the end. This is a 12% improvement. I was really fried at the end, so not much chanc e that I could have done better.

Translating to the Road
The Wednesday ride was pretty spirited this week at just under 19 mph. I was OK, but didn't pull much. Steve and Nick and I rode to New Carlisle the next day at around 40 miles and just under 17 for a pretty good 2 days in April. Looking over the logs, I'm riding as well now as I was last July. Let's keep it up! Tandem ride tomorrow weather permitting.

Cyclo90 Again
I'm doing some of block 2 since the weather is bad. I've done "Leg Ripper" for the second time and "Rollover Power" for the third time. It's pretty amazing how much better I am with these workouts. I increased from 165 watt average to 190 watt average while may average HR went from 124 to 108. I noticed that i can cruise pretty well over 300 watts now also. I was also able to do the full 90 second rollover at essentially my FTP. I hope this translates to the road.

Birds and Bikes
It's been a good week for birds. I saw a Rufous sided Towhee and possible some Sndhill Cranes yesterday and a Red Tail sitting near the Heron nests today.
I rode from Sidney to West Liberty yesterday with Nick and Steve. I struggled a little but got better as the ride wore on. We did 55 with a lot of climbing and averaged 16, which was pretty good for April with a lot of hills and a strong East wind.
